Inspired by Uma Thurman’s character, “The Bride” from the movie ‘Kill Bill: Vol. 1’. Particularly inspired by the final battle scene in which “The Bride” has to fend off a Japanese gang named the “Crazy 88’s” by herself. This Dunk Low features premium yellow patent leather, paint splattered to resemble blood splatter, as well a black snake skin swoosh after her assassin code name, “Black Mamba”. Made for exhibition at my first art gallery exhibition, “A Few of our Favorite Things.”
